This is a wonderful little creation, I love making these turtles. This one features a really nice Tiger Eye cabochon with Brass beads along the perimeter of the shell and it has a Lepidolite bead on the bail. I wanted to contrast the earth tones of the Tiger Eye, so I went with a purple and lavender cord combination. The pendant measures 2.75 inches long and 2 inches at its widest point. The chain that its on is adjustable from 14 to 29 inches long.
Each piece of jewelry is made with a waxed polyester cord which is very durable and water resistant. But I recommend, to keep the piece looking its best, take them off before showering or going for a swim. I use a sliding closure to finish both necklaces and bracelets, which make them adjustable, There is a group of knots that can freely move about the pull strings, to open the chain gently pull on the chain where the thicker pattern begins, then place on your wrist or over your head and pull on the ends of the pull strings until the piece sits where you'd like it to.
