Here is a genuine Sand Dollar that I made into this really adorable turtle! I used a Tan as well as a Forest Green cord paired with a Wengewood bead for the head. This pendant measures about 2.25 inches long and 2 inches wide. The chain that its on is adjustable from 11 to 28.5 inches long with Hematite beads on the pull strings. *
This is a real Sand Dollar and as such is fragile*
Each piece of jewelry is made with a waxed polyester cord which is very durable and water resistant. But I recommend, to keep the piece looking its best, take them off before showering or going for a swim. I use a sliding closure to finish both necklaces and bracelets, which make them adjustable, There is a group of knots that can freely move about the pull strings, to open the chain gently pull on the chain where the thicker pattern begins, then place on your wrist or over your head and pull on the ends of the pull strings until the piece sits where you'd like it to.
